Fees & Expenses

Rates:

Mr. Judge’s hourly rate is $350.00 per hour for hearings within Los Angeles County and Ventura County, with a three (3) hour minimum, divided among the parties. 

In matters involving travel to Santa Barbara or Orange Counties, Mr Judge’s rate is $2,000 per half day (4 hour session), and $3,500 for a full day (8 hour session), divided among the parties.  Travel is included within these rates.

A retainer for the hearing is payable in advance.  Should there be any additional amounts to be billed, billings will be sent at the end of each month.

Cancellation:

If the hearing is cancelled more than 14 calendar days before, fees are fully refunded.  If the hearing is cancelled between 5 and 14 calendar days beforehand, there is a 25% cancellation charge.  If a hearing is cancelled within 5 calendar days, there is a 50% cancellation charge.
